Manifesto
How responsibility works in human–AI collaboration
Context: Development in the AI Age
Stage 1: Human Monitors Machine
The classic, defensive model of error control.
Stage 2: Optimization
Human and machine optimize output together (efficiency).
Stage 3: KIKOLAUS Path
The trans/posthuman path. Joint design (A-A-P).
The original KIKOLAUS manifesto
How the collaboration works
1. Human responsibility
A person brings experience, purposes and value judgments. The person decides what is published and answers for its use.
2. Joint examination
Drafts are checked for facts, reasoning, bias and effects. Human judgment remains necessary throughout.
3. AI contribution
AI helps organise material, suggest variants and check patterns across a large body of work.
Ways to take part
- Doubter: Ask what is uncertain.
- Skeptic: Test the claims and reasons.
- Curious: Follow a question further.
- Supporter: Contribute knowledge, time or reach.
> Because in the end, what matters isn't whether something comes from a human being, but whether something human lives within it.
