# What happens next ## December 2025 · pfadethik.de launch The website became a public place for texts, cases and criticism. At that point, V1.65 was the reference version. ## Since May 2026 · Reference master v1.85 The published PDF is the version to cite. Its DOI is a lasting identifier for that exact edition. Later editions receive their own version record. ## In progress · v1.9 (theory) Planned work includes the relation between paths and their carriers, ways of representing natural systems, and the consequences of concrete interventions. Further case studies and comparisons with other ethics are also planned. Scope and publication date are not fixed. ## In preparation · empirical probing A pilot study will ask whether different people use autonomy, connectivity and persistence in similar ways when looking at the same systems. The assessment guide is its starting point. The study page explains the method and what still needs to be in place before data collection begins. ## Perspective · beyond v1.9 Work further on the open boundary questions listed on this site.
