yet it carries through the darkness,
makes the stumbling somehow sure.
Where the paths themselves are tangled,
it stands still, won't turn around.
Whispers soft into your doubting:
"Even detours can be sound."
It wants nothing but your breathing,
when you stumble, stay the course.
No symbol for triumph, glory,
just a glimmer, path-true force.
Like a rocking horse once carried,
now it glows, but not from shine.
